Shopping in Amsterdam, a few points to make:
- Being in Amsterdam when there's a fair on Dam Square = walking on heads = not fun.
- Tourists on bikes are life endangering.
- ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) cherub_ellie, I've found the Lush! It's a tiny little shop, in the middle of the street (Kalverstraat).
- shelly_ellie, I walked into a Subway shop! And I -swear- it was NOT there the last time I've been there. In other words: Amsterdam has its own Subway shop now. It's only a matter of time before Starbucks gives in.. Right?
- And for both of you: I made a list of sightseeing spots and attractions we could go to when you come over next year (yeah, the waiter wasn't too quick so I got bored :nc:). |
